Sunday Night Horse kicked off with 171 players putting up $216 each to take a shot at the $9,405 top prize. Turnout was a little down this weekend but there was still plenty of talent at the tables. Full Tilt Poker red pros included Chris Ferguson, Cyndy Violette, Esther Rossi, Jon Turner, Scott Fischman, and Stuart Paterson.

Four red pros made the money. Chris Ferguson, Esther Rossi, Scott Fischman, and Stuart Paterson all made the final 24 players. Anna Rexic was our bubble girl as she was eliminated by Full Tilt Pro Stuart Paterson in an Omaha Hi-Lo round. Two players of note that made the money were INTERCEPTOR and Bryan Micon. Micon started post-bubble play as the chip leader and INTERCEPTOR was the middle of the pack. INTERCEPTOR won last week’s Sunday Night HORSE. Micon finished 8th last week.

Chris Ferguson and Esther Rossi began post-bubble play as the two short stacks of the event. They were both able to pick their spots and hang around quite a while. In fact, Ferguson got what every stud player wants when they are short stacked, and that’s to be rolled up. Ferguson had rolled up deuces and was able to double up through Bryan Micon. Rossi would hang around a while but would ultimately fall victim to Micon as her kings up fell to his flush. Rossi finished in 18th.

While playing their way to the final table, the following conversation was held between Micon and Chris Ferguson:

Players would continue to fall as we made our way to the final table. Chris Ferguson and Stuart Patterson would share short stack status along the way but it was Ferguson that would finally fall. Ferguson finished just shy of the final table when Scott Fischman flopped a set of tens and Ferguson just held a pair of kings. Ferguson would finish in 9th and we had our final table.

Both Micon and INTERCEPTOR made the final table for the 2nd week in a row. Scott Fischman and Stuart Paterson represented the Full Tilt red pro contingent. Fischman started the final table as the chip leader with Wu_Wizard right on his heels.

Omaha Hi-Lo kept Stuart Paterson alive to make the final table, but in the end, it became his downfall. Paterson finished the event in 8th place

INTERCEPTOR and BootySmooth got into a bit of a raising war in what turned out to be INTERCEPTORS final hand. Multiple raises on each street left INTERCEPTOR all-in on 5th with kings up. Unfortunately for him, BootySmooth was holding trip aces. INTERCEPTOR was unable to fill up and finished the day in 3rd place. INTERCEPTOR has had a fantastic two week run. He won last week’s Sunday Night HORSE and finished 3rd this week. It will be interesting to see if he can make the final table for a third week in a row next weekend.
