GymClassHero wins Sunday Night H.o.r.s.e

This weeks edition of Sunday Night H.O.R.S.E. drew a smaller than normal crowd of only 163 players. This is likely to the current FTOPS series that is currently in full swing. First place for this event was $8,965, but still enough to draw out many strong players.

11 Full Tilt Poker red pros put up the $216 buy-in. Among them were Cyndy Violette, Jeremiah Smith, Jon Turner aka pearljammer, Kristy Gazes, Scott Fischman, and Stuart Paterson. Fischman was among the early chip leaders in the event, but never could gain any traction. Ultimately, none of the Full Tilt pros made them money.

24 players would make the money in this event with tedsfishfry being this week’s bubble boy. Former SUNDAY NIGHT HORSE champions INTERCEPTOR and Squirrely1 were among those that made the money in this event. The stacks sizes of the remaining 24 players were relatively even. GymClassHero was the chip leader with 20 players left in the field and INTERCEPTOR was right behind. As a result of the stacks being so close to each other, the final table took a lot longer to start than normal. Ultimately we reached our final 8 players:

Grrrrmonsta made the final table of this event for the 2nd straight week. Unfortunately for him, this week’s final did not produce as favorable a result. He moved all in during razz with a 3 card 10. Unfortunately, INTERCEPTOR woke up with a 3 card 7. Both players made a 10, but INTERCEPTORS 10-7 outpipped grrrrmonsta’s 10-9. Grrrrrmonsta finished the day in 8th place.

A big three way hand developed between traction, GymClassHero, and Luv2PlayOma. Traction had buried aces but in the end, they were no match for GymClassHero’s jack’s up. Traction could get very little at this final table and finished in 7th place.

After Luv2Oma’s elimination, 22clown took a massive chip lead at over 287,000 chips. The next closest at the time was GymClassHero with around 77,000.
