Horryclutch wins Sunday Night H.o.r.s.e

The World Series of Poker held its $1,500 H.O.R.S.E. event today, so there is little surprise that attendance was down a bit for Sunday Night H.O.R.S.E. Only 136 players turned out with the $216 buy-in to take their shot at the $9,000 first prize.

Only four Full Tilt Poker red pro’s turned out today with BrunoStefanelli, Roy Winston, Scott Fischman, and Stuart Paterson representing Full Tilt. Other notable players in the field were FLYINGCBAR, INTERCEPTOR, and Your Idol Dan G. Last weekend’s champion Jimmybluffi decided to not defend his title and we were guaranteed a new winner. Odds are he was at the Rio attempting to win the $1,500 H.O.R.S.E. bracelet.

16 players finished in the money with IATwomblel finishing as this week’s bubble boy. None of the Full Tilt pros nor any of the notable players made the money this week so we had a new cast of characters at the final table. This is who made the final table this week.

Misclicker was down to less than a full completion early in the final table but would make a comeback to keep herself in contention. She was all in on fifth street with sixes-up against the Broadway draw of horryclutch. Wonderfulsmellz would double up a couple of times but never got much above 20,000 in chips. He put the rest of them in on the following stud 8 or better hand. Horryclutch came into the final table around the middle of the pack and was able to build chips early on. Once play got to three handed, he kept the pressure on, but was able to back off when he sensed he might be in danger. Heads-up, johnnykran put up a good fight but horryclutch would catch all the cards in the end. As a result, horryclutch is this week’s champion and took home $9,000 and bragging rights until next week.
