SNACKERS wins Sunday Night H.o.r.s.e!

This week’s Sunday Night H.O.R.S.E. had a nice turnout despite the light attendance by Full Tilt Poker red pros. 179 players put up the $216 buy-in to take their shot at the $9,845 top prize. Six Full Tilt red pros showed up for the event. Those six were Stuart Paterson, Keith Sexton, Paul Sexton, Deigo Cordovez, Scott Fischman, and Soren Kongsgaard.

Among other notables in attendance were Bryan Devonshire aka “badbeatninja”, Cardsharps_Net, INTERCEPTOR, and Squirrely1. None of the Full Tilt pros managed to make the money. Cplayer35 was this event’s bubble boy. Squirrely1 and Cardsharps_Net were the only ones among the notable players to make the final table of the event. After a long battle the final table for this event took shape.

Surprisingly, it took a couple of game changes before we had our first elimination of the night. However, when that time did come, we had a double elimination. Both Ricardus III and zerocashout were eliminated in a hand that saw JuiceMaster win a big four way pot with a 9. Richardus III finished in 8th. Zerocashout had more chips to start the hand and finished in 7th.

However, AmazingChase’s name would pay off as he chased with sevens and wound up catching a set and then a boat in stud.

SNACKERS made a lot of ground during the Stud 8 and Holdem rounds. By the middle of Holdem, she had moved up to nearly 180,000 in chips and the brief chip lead. She then swapped pots with Your Idol Dan G to give the lead back to Your Idol, but not by much.

Your Idol Dan G would then start an epic slide that would see him not only lose the chip leadership but tumble all the way to 20,000 in chips. Manechka was then the solid chip leader with 205,178. Your Idol Dan G was then able to pull off a double up in the last hand of holdem and the first hand of Omaha 8 to move back up to 95,000 in chips. He would then win another small pot to climb back up to 105,000.

SNACKERS appeared to be hanging back for most of this epic final table. However, she picked her spots and was able to hang around until we reached heads-up.
