CzarBushov wins Sunday Night H.O.R.S.E
This week’s edition of Sunday Night H.O.R.S.E. drew 136 players. This may be due to the fact another online poker series is occurring at another site. Nonetheless, the top prize for the event was an even $9,000. Several Full Tilt Poker red pros turned out for the event including Scott Clements, Berry Johnston, and Cyndy Violette. Kristy Gazes went the deepest, finishing 28th.
Mike Leah aka “GoLeafsGoEh” went deep in the event but fell short of the money in 30th place. VanillaCake finished as the event’s bubble boy in 17th place. With the exception of the aviator1 and Bryan Micon, the final table was all fresh faces. This is how the final eight started final table action:
LAWDY 92,163
kidzero 68,452
BadCook 6,737
Micon 81,784
CzarBushov 47,711
105Princess 21,748
the aviator1 71,826
stevemo12 17,579
105Princess was the first player eliminated from this final table. The aviator1 raised pre-flop during Holdem and both BadCook and 105Princess made the call. On the flop of Kd-4h-9d, 105Princess bet, theaviator1 got out the way, BadCook raised, and 105Princess moved all-in. BadCook made the call and showed Kh-Jd. 105Princess was behind with pocket 10’s. The turn was the 6s and river the Kc to give BadCook trip kings and send 105Princess out in 8th place.
Kidzero was the next to hit the rail. He moved called a three-bet all-in from BadCook pre-flop during Omaha and held Jd-9d-8h-6h vs the Ah-Jh-8d-7d. BadCook never trailed. He flopped two pair and a flush draw, turned a better two pair with kicker and river the nut flush. Kidzero headed out in 7th place.
Stevemo12 was all-in on fourth street during stud with a four card heart flush and faced a four cards higher flush draw of LAWDY. Both players hit their draw, but LAWDY held a king high flush against a jack high flush for stevemo12. Stevemo12 finished in 6th place.
The aviator1 was all-in during stud with two pair and faced a pair of eights from BadCook. BadCook caught a better two pair on sixth and sent the aviator1 home in 5th place.
BadCook was in a big pot with Bryan Micon that ultimately led to his elimination. BadCook led out every street through sixth street. Micon raised on 6th street showing 9s-7c-7s-6c. BadCook held Qc-Qh-3d-5c. The river saw BadCook check to Micon, who bet out 10,000, which put BadCook all-in. Micon showed nines-full and BadCook mucked. Micon apparently started rolled-up and filled by fifth. BadCook finished in 4th place.
LAWDY was all-in on fourth street with CzarBushov and Micon calling along. CzarBushov bet the remaining street and Micon called to showdown. Czard Bushov showed an eight low and Micon two pair. LAWDY mucked and finished in 3rd.
A deal was made between Micon and CzarBushov. CzarBushov received $7,150 and Micon $6,850. They left $1,000 to play for with $600 going to 1st and 2nd getting $400.
CzarBushov steadily chipped away at Micon’s stack and then had him all-in during Holdem and behind. CzarBushov flopped a pair of tens and Micon a flush draw. The turn and river failed to bring a king or a spade for Micon and CzarBushov is the winner of Sunday Night HORSE.
CzarBushov seemed a little confused over the deal. During the negotiation, Micon mentioned leaving $1,000 for first. CzarBushov thought that it meant that the entire $1,000 would go to first. Instead, he received only $600.
His complaint was based on the following during the deal chat:
Micon: pass the control to me?
Micon: tyvm?
Micon: leave maybe $1k for 1st??
CzarBushov: ok
Micon never checked the winner take all box and the software split the $1,000 in prize money. The chat then exploded with a lot of flaming against Micon, especially when he told the observers he would have to think about whether he would send the $400 to CzarBushov.
Officially, CzarBushov walked away with $7,750 for a well played game. He entered the game in the middle of the pack and fought his way to the chip lead late Ultimately, he just drew better than Micon to win the game. Regardless of whether Micon honors their original deal, CzarBushov still walked away with a nice payday and bragging rights until next weekend.
