ROTTING SNAPPER wins Sunday Night H.O.R.S.E
The October 4th edition of Sunday Night H.O.R.S.E saw 136 players put up $216 each to take their shot at a prize pool of exactly $30,000. First place would take home $9,000 with 16 players paid. Only six Full Tilt Poker red pros took the field with many of the regulars for this event taking the week off.
Dsindy was this weeks bubble boy, finishing in 16th. Pokerfan X finished in 11th place and Prahlad Friedman aka “Prahladf” was the final table bubble boy in 9th. Esther Rossi was the only Full Tilt red pro to make the money, but she entered the final table 2nd in chips. This is how the final eight players started play:
Esther Rossi 78,129
typarks 55,176
ROTTING SNAPPER 54,758
JGpokerplayer 13,384
zestfulyclean 115,375
elitewrestla 52,666
meadowlark 23,310
Jsbryan 15,202
Jsbryan was the first eliminated from the final table. He was all-in on a turn of J-7-4-2 with A-4 and behind to the J-10 of zestfullyclean. The river fell a five and Jsbryan finished in 8th place.
Typarks had the last of his chips in on a turn with the board showing 8c-6h-4h-10h. Typarks held Ad-6d-Kh-Kc and he was behind to ROTTING SNAPPER who held Ac-4d-5d-7h for the straight and better low. The river fell the Qs and typarks was our 7th place finisher.
Elitewrestla tried to get the rest of her chips in on a flop of 9-5-2 rainbow during Omaha but the cap left her with 532 chips. She got them in on the turn of the Js holding Q-Q-9-3 for an over pair. Zestfullyclean held 8-8-5-7 for a pair, gutshot draw and low draw. The river fell the 10c to give zestfullyclean the straight and send Elitewrestla home in 6th.
It took a while to eliminate a player after elitewrestla was knocked out but when it happened, we lost two on one hand. JGpokerplayer was all-in during Stud calling the completion from meadowlark. Zestfullyclean made the call as well. Action was checked on fourth and then meadowlark check-raised all-in. Zestfullyclean called and showed trip deuces. JGPokerplayer showed an open ended straight draw and Meadowlark held only aces. The turn and river failed to improve anyone and Zestfullyclean knocked out two in one hand. JGpokerplayer finished in 5th and Meadowlark took 4th.

Esther gets coolered
Heads-up play started with zestfullyclean holding 265,727 chips to the 137,273 of ROTTING SNAPPER. The heads up match between these two lasted an incredible 107 hands. Zestfullyclean got ROTTING SNAPPER down to 50,000 or fewer chips several times before the Limit Holdem round was reach. Action was fast and wild during that round which saw ROTTING SNAPPER pull within even and then drop below 100,000 in chips at least three times.
It was Omaha that did in zestfullyclean. After knocking ROTTING SNAPPER back below 100,000 yet again, ROTTING SNAPPER took back to back 100k pots to pull back even. Then zestfullyclean got a bit overzealous and dropped a huge 240k pot after ROTTING SNAPPER flopped a set of kings. This gave ROTTING SNAPPER a 2 to 1 chip lead and zesfullyclean pretty much went on tilt. He raised literally every pot for the rest of the event. The final hand saw action capped pre-flop and on the flop. At the turn, the board read 10h-3s-Ac-10s and zesfullclean called a three-bet all-in. Zestfullyclean showed Ad-Qc-3c-4c for two pair and Rotting Snapper Showed As-Ah-2h-7d for a turned full house. Zestfullyclean was drawing dead and ROTTING SNAPPER was the champion.
ROTTING SNAPPER is this week’s winner of Sunday Night H.O.R.S.E. She won $9,000 and bragging rights until next week. Congratulations.
