Jordan Smith wins Sunday Night H.O.R.S.E poker
The November 1st edition of Sunday Night H.O.R.S.E. poker saw 140 players turn out to just match the $30,000 guarantee. The Full Tilt poker red pros were back in force this week with ten pros taking their shot, including Cyndy Violette, Huck Seed, Stuart Paterson, and Keith Sexton.
Sixteen players would receive a payday and top prize was $9,000. Both Mike Sexton and Stu Paterson made the money. Pokerfan X and goldfishman7 were two other notables to cash. Seraphino1 was the unfortunate bubble boy, finishing in 17th.
Pokerfan X was making a bid for yet another final table but was the short stack with nine players left. Keith Sexton was on the other table and short stacked as well. Both players went all-in during the Razz round, and both in the lead. Unfortunately, neither player was able to win their hand. Since Pokerfan X was shortest in chips, he became the final table bubble boy, finishing in 9th. Keith Sexton officially finishes at the final table in 8th place.
Stuart Paterson and WSOP Main Event 10th place finisher Jordan Smith headlined our final seven players. This is how they started final table action:

Chsburgereddy 49,574
Tennisklause 16,784
Jon Garay 24,818
Will_B_D 80,926
Stuart Paterson 73,820
Khunglongvoi 86,487
Jordan “Pimpin_pens” Smith 82,691
Tennisklause and John Garay both were all-in on third street during a seven card stud round. Both Stuart Paterson and khunglongvoi called along. At sixth, Paterson was showing three fours, but action was checked down to the river. Paterson had three sixes to go with those three fours to give him sixes full and nobody had anything better. Tennisklause started the hand with the fewest chips and finished officially in 7th and John Garay finished in 6th.
Will_B_D was the next to hit the rail. He raised all-in on fifth street after chsburgereddy caught a pair of jack. Chsbrgereddy made the call and showed jacks-up. Will_B_D held just a pair of tens. His tens did not improve and his odd play wound up sending him home in 5th.

Stuart Paterson was our 4th place finisher. During Texas Holdem, a flop of As-10s-9s was capped between Paterson and khunglongvoi. His final 5,000 went in on the turn Jh. Paterson showed Ah-Qc and found himself behind the Ac-Kc of khunglongvoi. The river fell the 2d and Paterson was eliminated.
Khunglongvoi fell in 3rd in a classic nut boat vs 2nd nut boat showdown. Betting between he and Jordan Smith was capped pre-flop and on a flop of J-8-10. The turn fell another 10 and khunglongvoi check-called a bet from Smith. The river fell yet another ten and khunglongvoi moved all-in. Smith made the call. Khunglongvoi showed K-K-5-2 for a full house but Smith showed A-A-7-8 for the better full house.
Heads-up play lasted all of one hand as chsburgereddy held only 29,200 chips and he quickly put them at risk with Qd-Jd-Jc-10d. Smith held Ac-9c-8d-6s and off to the races they went. The board ran out Q-7-3-4-5 to give Smith both a straight and low and the victory.
While he may not have made the WSOP Main Event final table, Jordan Smith does at least own a Sunday Night HORSE crown. He started 2nd in chips and hung tough until he found his opening with three players left. He then just dominated and took down the title. Congratulations to Jordan Smith, Sunday Night H.O.R.S.E. poker champion.
