This November 8th edition of Sunday Night H.O.R.S.E. drew a crowd of just 142, coming short of the 150 needed to make the event’s guarantee. Top prize for the event was still $9,000 and only 16 players paid. None of the Full Tilt Poker red pros that played in the event came close to cashing in the event.

Former champion ROTTING SNAPPER was the first player eliminated from the final table. He was all-in in the big blind during Omaha hi lo and both LAWDY and POCKET FIVE saw a flop of Ks-Qh-10s. LAWDY bet out and POCKET FIVE folded. LAWDY showed Ah-Jd-7h-Kd for broadway and ROTTING SNAPPER showed 2d-Jh-Qc-7c for middle pair and a broadway draw. The turn and river both fell blanks and ROTTING SNAPPER finished in 8th.

aubrey8 eliminated in 7th

Aubrey8 committed most of their stack on third street during a razz hand with 2-5-6 and wound up having to put the rest in when a king hit on fourth street. Sadly, they were far behind the 7-5-2-3 of POCKET FIVE. POCKET FIVE hit an ace on fifth for a made seven low, and aubrey8 would need running cards to make a six. The turn improved aubrey8 when they caught a 4, but the river brought yet another four, and their elimination in 7th place.

4shelby eliminated in 6th

4shelby moved all-in on third street during stud with A-8-3 and was behind to the split kings of POCKET FIVE. Kings wound up being enough to send 4shelby home in 6th place.

number1PEN 5th

In a strange stud hand. Nobody luckier bet every street, including the river showing a board of 10h-6d-Kh-8h. Number1PEN had a board of 3s-Jd-6c-2h at the river and called a bet, putting their tournament life at risk. Nobodyluckier showed kings-up at showdown and number1PEN mucked their hand. Number1PEN finished in 5th place.

nobodyluckier 4th

Nobodyluckier became our 4th place finisher. On a board of 3s-2d-3d-7h during Texas Holdem, nobodyluckier and POCKET FIVE got into a raising war that resulted in nobodyluckier all-in. POCKET FIVE showed the bad news when they revealed pocket aces to the pocket fives of nobodyluckier.
horryclutch 3rd
A three fell on the river to send nobodyluckier and their inferior full house out in 4th.
Horryclutch put the last of their chips in during Holdem on a flop of Jh-10c-7c. Horryclutch held As-9h for a straight draw and LAWDY held Js-8s for top pair and straight draw. The turn and river missed horryclutch and they hit the rail in 3rd.
POCKET FIVE wins Sunday Night HORSE

Heads-up play started with POCKET FIVE holding a 254,942 chip lead to the 171,058 of Lawdy. Lawdy was steadily ground down and ultimately took a stand during Omaha with his last 50,000 in chips. On a flop of 2h-7s-3c, LAWDY was all-in with Jd-8h-5d-2c for a weak low and bottom pair. Pocket five held Ah-Kh-7d-6h for a seven low and top pair. The turn and river failed to improve LAWDY’s hand and POCKET FIVE became the champion of Sunday Night HORSE.

After starting around middle of the pack, POCKET FIVE was able to make a strong comeback and win Sunday Night HORSE. For his win, he received $9,000 in prize money and bragging rights until next weekend.
