Blivot wins SUNDAY NIGHT H.O.R.S.E.
The December 6th edition of Sunday Night HORSE once again fell short of its guarantee with 146 players looking to take their part of the $30,000 guaranteed prize pool. As is the norm, $9,000 was first place money with 16 players paid.
A few more Full Tilt Poker Red Pro’s took a seat this week in the event, but none came close to cashing. The closest was Stuart Paterson in 50th. Jimmybluffi was the only name of note outside of the final table that finished in the money. Former champion NestOfSalt finished 26th.
The final table was headlined by Mike Leah aka GoLeafsGoEh but it was Blivot that entered the final table as chip leader. This is how the final eight players started play:
Blivot 129,156
Mike Leah 32,130
Kice32 19,743
Ram33 52,030
Cal-Nik-2 30,654
Alanbate87 84,270
Keledry 71,031
Bazeman 18,986
Kice32 was the first player eliminated from the final table. Down to his last 10k in chips, he put them in pre-flop against Cal-Nik-2 with Jc-Jd-6h-3d. Cal-Nik-2 held Ah-Qh-Qc-3c. An ace on the flop kept Cal-Nik-2 in the lead and no low came for either player. Kice32 became the 8th place finisher.
Bazeman was down to his last 9,286 in chips and chose to go to war during Razz with A-3-6. Mike Leah decided to battle with 6-4-3. By fifth, bazeman held a made king with a redraw to a nine. Leah held a pair of fours with a redraw to a six. On sixth, Leah caught a seven for a seven low and bazeman caught a 10. As a result of his catch, bazeman was drawing dead as he could only improve to a nine. Bazeman finished in 7th place.
Mike Leah was down to just under 10k and decided to complete during razz with a three showing. He then put the rest of his chips in on fourth holding 10-9-7-3. He was well behind the 8-7-4-3 of keledry. Fifth brought keledry an eight with a redraw to a seven and Leah held a 10 with a redraw to a nine. Both players paired on sixth street and Leah was left drawing dead. Mike Leah finished in 6th place.

Cal-Nik-2 had a bit of a blow up during stud. After completing with an ace showing and alanbate87 calling along, he check called on fourth. Then on fifth, with As-Qc-7s showing, Cal-Nik-2 bet into alanbate87, who was showing K-10-2, all clubs. Alanbate87 raised and Cal-Nik-2 three-bet. Alanbate87 called the three-bet and on sixth, Cal-Nik-2 moved all-in after catching the Kh. Alanbate87 caught the 8h and made the call. Cal-Nik-2 revealed a 9d-4d in the hole for a complete bluff. Alanbate87 was not much better as he showed Ad-10s , but he at least had a pair. Both players caught a blank on the river and Cal-Nik-2 bluffed himself into elimination, finishing in 5th place.

Ram33 looked to be in great shape for a double up. He got his last 30k in chips into the middle by fifth street of stud holding fives and threes. Blivot called and held just a pair of tens. However, the turn gave Blivot a pair of threes for tens-up and Ram33 was unable to fill up by the river. Ram33 finished in 4th place.
Keledry had a roller coaster ride three-handed. She started with 70k in chip and then built her way up to about 114k in chips. She then lost two sizable pots back to back in stud 8 to leave her with only 4,976 in chips. Keledry then put those chips in on third street with a jack showing. Blivot called with a king showing and alanbate87 called as well with a three showing. Action was checked to the river. At the river, keledry showed a pair of sixes, which was good enough to beat Blivot. However, alanbate87 had tens-up and keledry was eliminated in 3rd place.
After keledry was eliminated, the two players began deal talk. Not a word was mentioned before hand in chat so either the two know each other outside of the table or they were just ready to end things. No discussion was made. A few seconds after the deal window was brought up, the final acceptance deal was brought up and the two remaining players quickly accepted the deal.
Alanbate87 officially finished in 2nd place, taking home $7017.61 after the deal. Blivot is this week’s champion. He received $7,982.39 as a result of the deal. Blivot entered the final table with the chip lead and never looked back. Heads-up, as opposed to taking the chance of letting luck decide things, he accepted a deal that was more than fair. He held 289k in chips to 150k for alanbate87. Simple deal that gave both over 7k and Blivot the title.
