Poker Prop Bet

A proposition bet, also known as a prop bet, is a bet made by players on almost anything. For example, a player making a bet on how long it will take to break a table is a prop bet. Two players making a bet on whether an ace will hit the flop is another example.

Prop betting during poker tournaments and away from the table is a huge hobby among many of the top pros. Some memorable bets include David Grey betting vegetarian Howard Lederer that he would not eat a cheeseburger. These bets can provide both an exciting form of entertainment and can become quite profitable for those that win them.
